What is "NO MORE Eiga Dorobo" ("No More Movie Theft")?
This character was introduced in 2007 for the "Preventing Illegal Movie Filming Campaign" developed by the "Go to the Movies!" executive committee.
In movie theaters across Japan, a campaign advertisement with the theme of "NO MORE Movie Theft" is shown before every movie, with posters displayed in the lobbies as well. They star the Camera Man, who tries to illegally film movies while doing a unique dance, and the Patrol Man, who chases the Camera Man to prevent him from filming. Their exploits have become a cult hit throughout Japan.
