The KUBO plate is a lead-free bronze cast with diamond grains implanted on both surfaces - the front for lapping sharpening stones, and the back for fixing damaged blades.
Just splash on enough water to drench the surface, and you can use KUBO to lap quickly and accurately.
A pair of 8mm SBR rubber covers protect the plate's high flatness against external shocks. When KUBO is enclosed in its covers, it can also be used as a stone holder.
